Instrumentalists – We are always looking for musicians who play wind, brass, and percussion instruments as well as piano to enhance our worship services. Please contact the church or music office if you would like to be used in service.
The GUMC Sanctuary Orchestra for string, brass, wind, and percussion players in grades 9 - adult plays during the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Participation is by proficiency audition.
Grace Notes – This ensemble of female vocalists is our newest group of musicians to come together and sing. The group of 9 ladies rehearses on Wednesday evenings and performs SSA music in a variety of styles from traditional to contemporary. Participation is by audition.
Sanctuary Hand Bell Choir - This group plays a wide variety of hand bell music styles/literature and performs regularly in our worship services and special events. Some music reading ability is required. Volunteer ringers meets on Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Senior Saints (Hand Bell Choir) - This group of senior adults meets on Wednesday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. in the choir room for hand bell music and fellowship. These volunteers at all levels of experience, present music periodically for Senior Adult Ministries (SAMS) programs and other worship times.
