A message from our pastor…

"You are a member of God’s very own family…and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian."
- Ephesians 2:19

Paul makes it very clear what it means to be a part of a church. It isn’t merely about membership. It isn’t about your name on the roll. It is about belonging. It is about being a part of a family.

To be a member at Grayson United Methodist Church is to belong. Just “joining” the church is not true membership, nor is “attending”. There are lots of people who join a church, or attend, but who never really belong.

To belong to Grayson UMC means to have a vital part in working with others in ministry towards our shared purpose. It means there is a place for you. A place for you to be loved, nurtured, accepted and encouraged in your walk with Christ. This is also a place for you to live out the calling Christ has placed on your heart to sacrificially serve.

Within this website are the many areas of ministry in our church as well as a directory of sisters and brothers with whom Christ has called you to belong. So let us love one another, pray for one another, and be blessed by one another. Belong.
